Hailing from the rainforests of South America, Syngonium are a genus of subtropical climbers that have found their way into many peoples’ homes as houseplants in recent years. Syngonium podophyllum is probably the most popular species, though – in its mature form – it’s often too big for most terrariums. That’s where Syngonium podophyllum ‘Pixie’ comes in!
 
This adorable dwarf variety still stays true to the Arrowhead Vine name with its signature arrow-shaped leaves, but it stays small, compact, and fabulous. With a characteristic creamy white variegation in the center of the leaves and a deep green around the edges, its beautiful colors and shapes are a great addition to any terrarium.
 
PLANT CARE
• Light: Thrives in bright, indirect light
• Water: Water when the top few centimeters of soil dries out
• Considerations: Remove the old leaves for a quick tidy up. Likes humidity, for indoor plants regular water and a spritz on the foliage will keep them happy.
